Isis / Demeter In Egyptian mythology, Isis was the daughter of the god Keb ("Earth") and the goddess Nut ("Sky"). To the Egyptians, Sirius was the star of Isis. Belinos / Beli There are more surviving inscriptions to Belinos than to any other Celtic God, his name means 'shining' or 'brightly shining. Belinos was worshipped in worshipped in N. Italy, Gaul and Britain. 'Belinos was equated with Apollo. We have seen reason to believe that he is none other than the Welsh Beli or Belin, father of Avallach.
